60 fps MP4 slow motion looks choppy after a 30 fps export

I recorded 60 fps specifically for half-speed slow motion. I slowed it to 50 percent, yet the 30 fps export still looks uneven. What usually goes wrong?

Verify the source is truly constant 60/59.94 and the project is in the matching 30/29.97 family. A clean 2:1 relationship should give one source frame per output frame at half speed.

If optical flow is enabled, disable it and test simple sampling. You do not need synthesized frames when the source already has enough unique frames for exact 50-percent slow motion.

Capture shutter matters too. Correct cadence cannot invent natural motion blur if every source frame used an extremely short exposure.
