I use Premiere for longer edits but want to add speed and route graphics to a few sections. I do not need telemetry on every clip.
Would you preprocess only the telemetry shots, or bring the entire project through a telemetry tool first?

For a long project I would only preprocess the clips that actually need telemetry. That reduces extra renders and keeps the main edit simple.

Good practical split. Our guide will compare full-project and selected-clip workflows so readers can see when an extra telemetry stage is acceptable and when direct metadata support saves meaningful time.
