I am testing VSDC specifically because I want a shorter path from camera file to speed/route overlays.

If the original clip contains supported telemetry, can I keep the workflow inside the editor rather than extracting GPX first?

Yes, this is one of the workflows we want to document in detail. With supported action-camera files, VSDC can use embedded telemetry directly, which is different from workflows that require a separate extraction step.

We will publish exact camera samples, screenshots and limitations rather than treating every model/file combination as identical.

That would be useful. The separate extraction step is what usually makes me stop using telemetry for quick edits, so a direct path matters more to me than having dozens of gauge styles.
