I added a speed ramp to part of a riding clip. The video timing changes, but the telemetry overlay still appears to run at the original rate.
Is the right solution to bake the overlay before retiming, or retime the data as well?

A speed ramp breaks the simple one-to-one relationship between source time and timeline time. I would either apply telemetry before the retime in a controlled intermediate, or use a workflow that explicitly maps telemetry to source time through the retime.
Telemetry & gauges
We will make this a dedicated tutorial because it is a good example of why 'overlay works' is not enough. Editing operations such as speed changes, freeze frames and reverse playback need their own telemetry rules.
