I saw a workflow where importing a supported action-camera clip can trigger telemetry extraction automatically.
Is this tied to the video import itself, and can I still choose a different external GPX track later?

For supported GoPro/action-camera files, VSDC can detect embedded telemetry during import and offer to extract it into project resources. External GPX remains a separate workflow when you need another data source.

That split is useful: embedded data when available, external track when the camera file is not the best source.
