The square sensor is interesting because I often need a 16:9 YouTube edit and a vertical social version from the same trip.
Would you frame loosely and crop both later, or still compose primarily for one final format?

A square/open capture is useful insurance, not a substitute for composition. Build guides/safe areas into the edit if you know you need two aspect ratios.

I would protect the important subject for both crops when possible, but still decide which version is primary so the shot has intent.
