For sailing footage I want speed in knots, not road units. I can live with converting the numbers, but I would prefer a gauge that displays knots directly.
Has anyone found a clean workflow for this?

If the overlay tool only offers mph/km/h, the fallback is to extract or interpret the speed data and use a custom gauge/value conversion. The important part is not to alter the underlying timing.

This is a good candidate for a custom telemetry widget rather than a built-in camera sticker. We will include nautical units in our telemetry-overlay comparison when we test editors and dedicated overlay tools.
