Can I remux a GoPro MP4 without losing GPMF telemetry?

I sometimes change containers or join files without re-encoding the video. I know a remux is different from a transcode, but I am not sure whether every tool copies GoPro metadata tracks.

Is there a safe way to verify the result?

Treat it as a test, not an assumption. Compare the remuxed file with the original in the telemetry software you actually plan to use.

Good point. I will keep the source and check that the resulting file still exposes the same telemetry before I batch-process a whole trip.
