I am trying to understand the practical advantage of opening Insta360 source more directly instead of preparing a normal video first.
Is the biggest win export quality, faster setup, or the ability to change the 360-to-2D view later?

That is the central benefit we will test: fewer handoffs, less intermediate rendering and easier revision of the 360-to-2D result inside VSDC.

For me it is avoiding the extra preparation render and keeping the reframing decision inside the main editing workflow.
